We are officially less than a month away from Troop 79’s return to Camp Wanocksett Scout Reservation for 2024 Troop Week and Camp Wanocksett's 100th anniversary summer! 

The next Court of Honor will take place during the first part (7:30 - 8:20) of this Thursday's scout meeting. There will also be trip preps for the upcoming Camporee and Venture Hike, as well as Halloween prep.

The scout meeting this Thursday will be for all scouts from 7:30 to 8:35 pm. This is the last regular troop meeting this year before the fall. Patrols will meet every other week, or as otherwise determined by the Patrol Leaders, over the summer. The meeting schedule for this Thursday is below:

The planning meeting for next year will be during this Thursday's meeting at 7:30 pm, where next year's trips and PLCs will be planned out. This meeting will be for First Class scouts and above; the regular meetings will resume on 6/23 for all scouts. Make sure to bring an idea for a trip to lead next year. New ideas for trips are highly encouraged.
